1. Introduction
Kshanit Shankardas HUF, operating under the brand Visit Konkan (hereinafter referred to as “Visit Konkan”, “we”, “us” or “our”), provides travel and destination management services.
By booking, purchasing, or enquiring about any tour package or service, You (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Scope of Services
Visit Konkan provides services including but not limited to:
- Tour packages
- Hotel bookings
- Transportation services
- Sightseeing arrangements
- Destination management services
We act as an intermediary between You and third-party service providers such as hotels, transporters, and activity providers.
3. Booking & Payment Terms
3.1 Booking Confirmation
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of required advance or full payment.
• Prices are subject to availability and may change until booking is confirmed.
3.2 Payment Terms
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, payment gateway, or approved methods.
• Partial payment may be required at the time of booking, with the balance payable before departure.
3.3 Pricing
• All prices are per person unless stated otherwise.
• Prices may vary due to changes in fuel cost, taxes, or supplier charges. ()
• GST and other applicable taxes will be charged as per government regulations. ()
4. Tour Inclusions & Exclusions
4.1 Inclusions
Typical inclusions may consist of:
- Accommodation on twin/triple sharing basis
- Transportation as per itinerary
- Meals as specified
- Sightseeing and entry fees (as mentioned)
- Tour coordination/support
4.2 Exclusions
Unless specifically mentioned, the following are excluded:
- Airfare / train tickets (unless stated)
- Personal expenses (laundry, tips, shopping, etc.)
- Insurance
- Additional meals or services
- Any increase in taxes, fuel surcharge, or government levies ()
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation charges will apply as per the timeline below (indicative structure inspired by industry standards):
- 60+ days prior: 10% of tour cost
- 45–60 days: 25% of tour cost
- 30–45 days: 50% of tour cost
- 15–30 days: 75% of tour cost
- 0–15 days: 100% of tour cost
Cancellation charges increase closer to departure date, as practiced in the travel industry. ()
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–15 working days.
6. Changes & Amendments
- Any change requested by the customer may attract additional charges.
- Visit Konkan reserves the right to modify itineraries due to operational, safety, or external factors.
- Hotels, transport, or routes may change without prior notice if required. ()
7. Travel Documents & Responsibilities
- You are responsible for carrying valid documents (ID proof, Aadhaar, Passport, Visa, etc.).
- Visit Konkan is not liable for denial of travel due to incomplete or incorrect documentation.
8. Third-Party Services
- Visit Konkan works with third-party suppliers (hotels, transporters, guides).
- We are not responsible for delays, deficiencies, or service issues from these providers.
- You agree to abide by the terms of such service providers.
9. Communication & Marketing
By using our services, You consent to communication via:
- Phone calls
- SMS & Google RCS
- Promotional and cold calls
You may opt out of marketing communication at any time.
10. Customer Conduct
You agree:
- To follow all travel guidelines and instructions
- Not to engage in unlawful or disruptive behavior
- To respect co-travelers, staff, and local regulations
Visit Konkan reserves the right to terminate services without refund in case of misconduct.
11. Force Majeure
Visit Konkan shall not be liable for any failure or delay due to events beyond control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Weather conditions
- Political instability
- War or strikes
- Pandemics or government restrictions
Additional costs arising due to such situations shall be borne by the customer. ()
12. Liability Disclaimer
Visit Konkan shall not be liable for:
- Loss of luggage or personal belongings
- Injury, illness, or accidents during travel
- Delays or cancellations by airlines or transport providers
- Any indirect or consequential losses
13. Insurance
Travel insurance is not included unless specified. Customers are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage.
14. Intellectual Property
All branding, logos, itineraries, and content belong to Visit Konkan. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
15. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for providing accurate information. Visit Konkan shall not be liable for issues arising from incorrect details provided by You.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
17. Amendments
Visit Konkan reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services implies acceptance of updated Terms.
